Shanghai is the key market for business growth since there are many sizable foodservice market players. We target to double the sales revenue in this area. Therefore, it is critical to find an aggressive and driving sales leader to lead the business growth in Shanghai and nearby cities.

Key Responsibilities Include

  • Develop and maintain a business partnership with distributors
  • Lead the TSE team with the area of Shanghai、Suzhou and Jia Xing to exploit the potential volume of existing customers and develop new customers to meet the requirements of business growth in east China.
  • Ensure and maintain a business partnership with direct customers
  • To have ownership and implement the related requirements of food safety and quality systems in this position
  • Coordinate with Marketing to lead sales and address customer needs:
    • product development
    • demo/training service
    • incentive programs
  • Co-work with R&D and Technical Chef to develop new products or adjust the old product to optimize the product portfolio and choices to meet customer demands
  • Keep abreast of critical market trends, competition, customer movements in Greater China
  • Coordinate with Marketing and Technical Chef to provide efficient in-market support – strategy direction, marketing tools, event planning
  • Deal with Pricing & Sourcing to monitor raw material, packaging solution, etc. which meets customers needs and obtain the best interest of corporate
  • Internal stakeholders:
    • Customer service: Follow up any request from the customer
    • Pricing: Coordinate a proper price for a commercial contract
    • Sourcing: Weekly or bi-weekly monitor raw material price and coordinate all necessary process eg packaging for product to launch
    • R&D: Define new products or adjust old products to meet market/ customer demands and expectations
    • Finance: Weekly or bi-weekly monitor pricing, DM, CM, and sales performance
  • External stakeholders:
    • Distributors/Customers: Develop a business partnership
    • Associations: Network to obtain market information

About You

  • Sales management experience in Bakery/pastry ingredient or closely related industry
  • International Key Account Management experience;
  • Working fluency in business English;
  • People leading experience;
  • Good communication both internally and externally
