About the Benelux Chamber of Commerce
The Benelux Chamber of Commerce in China serves as the premier platform for businesses from Belgium, the Netherlands, and Luxembourg, supporting trade and business development across the region. Established in 2001, the Chamber has steadily grown to encompass three chapters (Beijing, Shanghai, and Guangzhou) with over 350 members and 160 company members, including large enterprises, SMEs, and individuals. Backed by the embassies of Belgium, the Netherlands, and Luxembourg, the Chamber offers a robust network and resources for members to thrive in China.
Position: Marketing Manager.
Appealing Salary

Contract Time: 1 year, with goal to extend. Full time, starting as soon as possible.
Key Responsibilities
The Marketing Manager will play a critical role in shaping the Chamber’s online presence, driving membership growth, and enhancing its visibility. Responsibilities include:
- Marketing and Member Engagement
- Design and execute strategic marketing initiatives to attract and retain members, sponsors, and interns.
- Develop and manage content for digital platforms to boost visibility, engage audiences, and promote Chamber activities.
- Oversee consistent and professional communication across all channels, guided by the Chamber’s brand standards.
- Event Promotion and Support
- Drive the promotion of events, seminars, trade missions, delegations, and programs such as Intern2China.
- Support and attend Chamber events to ensure smooth execution and engagement.
- Digital Presence and Branding
- Maintain and enhance the Chamber’s digital presence, ensuring branding is cohesive, professional, and aligned with organizational goals.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Work closely with the full team, providing cross-functional support as required to achieve Chamber objectives.
Candidate Profile & Requirements
The ideal candidate is a dynamic and creative marketing professional with a passion for community building and an eye for detail. A foreign national with Chinese language skills is preferred for this role, covering the following requirements:
- In possession of a bachelor’s or master’s degree in marketing, Business Administration, or another related field.
- Experience in international business, trade, and cross-cultural communication.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English. Ties with the Netherlands, Belgium or Luxembourg is a must. Proficiency in at least two of the following languages Dutch, French, or Mandarin is a must.
- Proficiency in online advertising (promotional writing) and using social media platforms is a must.
- Knowledge about Adobe Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator and After Effects are a must.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively.
- Self-motivated, proactive, and a team player (small team equals teamplay!).
- Foreign candidates should have at least 2 years of working experience (including internship time) or hold a Chinese bachelor’s, master’s or Chinese language degree (obtained in Mainland China).
