We have more than 300 clients and a team of 80 people who supported more than 60 business transactions. We are mainly located in the heart of Europe, Belgium but with a special expertise in China-Europe business transactions. This year the company has launched a new spin-off, Novas Ventures (www.novas-ventures.com) which is backed by Chinese investors and aims to set up Joint Ventures in China with European based (tech) companies. At the same time, we are working on a new initiative in Europe, with the aim to provide new distribution solutions for Chinese manufacturers, suitable for the new geopolitical situation. For Novas Ventures and the new initiative, we are looking for an intern business analyst, preferably with commercial skills.

Duties & Responsibilities

• Analyze the Chinese and European AgrifoodTech, semiconductor, automotive, electronical consumer goods, and robotics market in order to find the right companies in the different sectors.

• Analyze the venture capital sector for these sectors. Generate and update new market info

• Gather data for specific projects and find the right partner / investor for selected projects

• Support in reaching out to the right companies and investors.

• Assist in the making of business plans and be involved in any other project support

• Be commercially and technically involved in state-of –the art projects.

• Work closely with customers in order to smoothen business process

• Set-up and join online and offline business meetings. Provide useful commercial input during these meetings

• Prepare and translate complex sets of data into a clear and understandable presentations/ report

• If possible, detect commercial opportunities, and follow up on lead generation

• Use of strong communication skills (verbal/written/listening) and understanding of intercultural issues and related communication

• Finish on time ambiguous and often tight schedules. Where a sense of urgency with strong follow-up skills are needed
