Darling is a boutique advertising and design agency for marketers of all sizes, from start-ups to multinational corporations, looking for a level of attention not available at larger agencies. Our workshop approach provides our clients with a high-touch, one-on-one collaborative relationship that is fast and efficient.

Opportunity:

This role supports our Shanghai-based souvenir brand, which connects local design with storytelling and retail. The intern will work closely with our sourcing team in Kunming and design team in New York.  

Key tasks:

• Coordinate product development and monitor project timelines
• Research new souvenir concepts, packaging ideas, and competitor offerings
• Assist in growing our sales channels (retailers, pop-ups, online)
• Support backend setup for online store (Shopify/product listings)
• Conduct simple surveys and collect customer feedback
• Basic support for financial tracking (e.g. unit cost and stock tracking)

Requirements:
Self-motivated, detail-oriented, fluent in English, with a basic understanding of business processes. Interest in branding or product development is a plus.

Work location: Flexible (partly remote + meetings in Shanghai)
