Role Description

• As our Data Scientist Intern, you will have the opportunity to interact with core methodologies of our product features, you will collaborate with the product team to elevate the world we know today and invent solutions for the problems our clients face tomorrow. We are looking for an innovative mind and someone who can assist in developing data science methodologies and models.
• You are an energetic and resourceful individual who not only can build models but also enjoys coming up with new ideas on optimization and product features. You have a genuine interest in the business applicability of data and share our mission to drive sales actions through big data and AI.
• Qualified candidates have a track record of solid data science projects and have proven problem-solving capabilities. You understand the limitations of various data science approaches and you can communicate this with internal partners. You will work with our rockstar team consisting of Product Managers, Data Scientists, Data Engineers, and Data Analysts.

Main Responsibilities

• Develop data science models from POC to production;
• Work with our current data pipeline and data components and continuously look for ways to improve the workflow;
• Using statistical analysis techniques to understand patterns in large volumes of data, identify relationships and data clusters, detect data anomalies, and classify data sets;
• Work with Quality and Assurance and strive to improve our data quality;
• Day-to-day communications across the team to ensure smooth cooperation.

Job Requirements

• An enrolled student of a Bachelor's or Master's program that supports a career in data science: Data Science, Artificial Intelligence, Computer Science, Statistics, or equivalent fields
• Ability to work both independently and in a team
• Nearly full-time availability starting in Mid-March 2024 onwards for at least 5 months
• Familiar with Python; experience with ML toolkits is preferred
• Proficiency in English is preferred
• Willing to learn and master new skills in a short period

岗位职责：

• 开发从 POC 到落地所需的数据科学模型。
• 在工作中运用我们当前的数据管道和数据组件，并不断探索改进工作流程的方法。
• 使用统计分析技术来理解大量数据中的模式、识别它们之间的关系和数据集群、检测数据异常并对数据集进行分类。
• 和QA合作提升我们的数据质量。
• 团队之间的日常沟通，确保合作顺利。

岗位要求：

• 数据科学、人工智能、计算机科学、统计学或相关学科本科或硕士在读
• 具有自主完成项目以及团队协作的能力
• 实习时间要求： 从 2024 年 3 月中旬能入职者优先，持续时间5个月及以上，每周至少4天到岗，可长期实习者优先
• 熟悉Python；具有ML toolkits的经验优先
• 英文熟练者优先
• 愿意学习和在短时间内掌握新的技能和方法
