About the job:
As an Equities Business Manager, you will transition into a dedicated focus on the Equities and Global Markets business line. Your mission is to optimize the commercial and operational environment for the trading desk.
- Strategic Business Development: Drive cross-functional transformation initiatives specifically tailored to Equities growth, including the implementation of electronic trading platforms.
- Commercial Optimization: Identify opportunities to improve organizational processes that directly support business growth and cost efficiency within the Equities space.
- Platform Evolution: Lead complex market initiatives, focusing on the development and lifecycle management of low-touch business programs.
- Governance & Control: Ensure strong governance and internal controls are embedded within all Equities change initiatives and business activities.
- Stakeholder Advisory: Manage and direct high-level governance meetings, coordinating with key stakeholders to align business goals with operational execution
Skills & experiences required:
- Financial Expertise: 8–10 years of relevant experience in the financial industry, with a deep understanding of Global Markets.
- Technical Track Record: Extensive experience in business management and process re-engineering, particularly regarding electronic trading platforms.
- Strategic Execution: Proven ability to manage the full project lifecycle for complex market initiatives with a high degree of autonomy.
- Analytical Prowess: A solutions-oriented mindset with strong problem-solving skills and the ability to deliver high-quality outcomes under pressure.
- Communication: Excellent communication skills and the professional acumen to manage demanding stakeholder relationships effectively.
- Education: University degree or above.
