About the role
We are seeking an exceptional Senior FM to oversee the full scope of financial operations for the Singapore and US offices. This is a critical leadership position, encompassing financial reporting, forecasting, and corporate compliance. The successful candidate will serve as a strategic partner to the business, translating complex financial data into actionable insights that directly influence key business decisions and drive sustainable expansion.
A primary focus of this role is Commercial Finance Management. You will be directly involved in evaluating the financial terms of significant client engagements, proactively identifying and highlighting potential financial risks, and developing robust solutions to ensure profitable and sustainable commercial partnerships.
Furthermore, you will take the lead on all organizational forecasting, managing the preparation of annual, quarterly, and monthly forecasts for the P&L and balance sheets, coupled with developing the financial analysis and compelling narratives that drive business strategy. You will also supervise monthly closing activities, manage crucial project revenue recognition and reconciliation processes, and collaborate closely with external auditors and advisors to ensure the timely and accurate publication of the annual report.
Skills and experience needed
To thrive in this dynamic, high-visibility role, you must possess a strong, comprehensive foundation in accounting, with proven expertise in both financial and management accounting. Success requires demonstrated experience in managing small teams and a highly collaborative approach, enabling effective partnership with stakeholders across all levels of the organization. Exceptional influencing and stakeholder management skills are non-negotiable. Prior experience in project accounting is highly preferred, given the nature of the business.
