Role Description
We are looking for the Investment Banking Intern for our Shanghai office to assist the team with M&A
Responsibilities
Working in the M&A division, you will be assisting clients solve some of their most critical financial and strategic challenges. We’re looking for candidates who will thrive in a dynamic environment where multi-tasking and time management skills are essential.
- Analyzing detailed corporate and financial information.
- Creating statistical exhibits that analyze comparative financial performance.
- Building financial models to illustrate projected financial results and value to companies.
- Developing marketing memoranda and delivering sections of research presentations.
- Participating in the execution of financings and M&A transactions.
- Acting as the liaison for the team and other parts of the Firm.
Skills & Requirements
You should be comfortable working with numbers and be an analytical thinker. Strong communication and interpersonal skills are needed in order to work successfully with
clients and team members
- You are an outstanding student;
- You have a strong interest in financial services;
- You are analytical, quantitative, a leader, a team player, results driven, a multi-tasker, possess a strong work ethic, have excellent oral and written communication skills and a positive attitude;
- Working Proficiency in English is required and fluency in Mandarin is highly preferred. Any other European or Asian languages will be a plus.
- You have working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel, Power Point, Word), while experience with Factset and VBA skills are a plus;
- Have a strong desire to become full-time employees upon completion of the internship is highly preferred. Have involved in M&A or consulting related projects before is highly preferred .
* Foreign nationals without permanent Hong Kong residency are required to obtain a No Objection Letter (NOL) from the University for internship purposes.
* You are currently in Hong Kong and eligible to work in Hong Kong and will not require visa sponsorship
