CFL is currently seeking candidates to join our rapidly expanding team. We seek to hire a Business Development - ROW to report to the Sales Director ROW – REST-OF-THE-WORLD. The successful candidate will be an integral part of our multi-national Sales, Business Development and Customer Service team. The position has a strong connection to the ROW Sales Team and ROW CS Team, thus excellent communication skills are required. As the BDM ROW, you’ll work across teams to provide the alignment, knowledge, resources, and tools that help CFL deliver exceptional quality and service to our customers.

This is a coordination role to help ensure that our Sales team / BDs and customers, with main focus on LATAM, receive the best-in-class support and service to ensure CFL’s continued growth in those markets. You will be the extended hand between the sales team and the rest of the CFL organization. You will play a central role in ROW to ensure that the job activities across BDs, CS, Marketing, PMs, Production, and our Customers are aligned and developed with high quality.

Duties/Responsibilities:

Customer's Relationship

  • Manage each customer's portfolio (Product Range Management) and update and maintain CRM (refer to Standard SKU lists, quotations, loading database, and data on the server). The same goes for serious leads with positive perspectives.
  • Coordinate with Customer Service the samples required to develop existing customer and prospect accounts.
  • Organize customers' visits to the factory, hold meetings, prepare the showrooms and write Meeting Summaries and Action Plans.
  • Prepare Company/Product presentations /Product proposals tailored to each customer.
  • Develop corporate relationships with customers by means of consultation, follow-up, preparing proposals, service and terms (payment, MOQ, warranty etc.), negotiations, and quotations.
  • Understand customers’ needs and make appropriate recommendations by providing the latest updates on new or existing products to maximize sales opportunities.
  • Represent CFL and put yourself in the customer's shoes, handle issues in the best interest of both the customer and the company.
  • Provide Sales Training on product knowledge and sales features to the customer when necessary.
  • Financial follow-up of each account, credit insurance, and payment follow-up.
  • Conduct market research by means of communication with the customer and market stakeholders.
  • Participate in Exhibitions representing CFL.

 

• Brand Management (Marketing)

  • Increase CFL brand awareness (FirmFit, NovoCore ,Audacity ,Neptune ,...) by means of marketing support to branded distributors.
  • Increase OEM brand awareness by means of marketing support to OEM-clients
  • Communicate with Marketing dept. to ensure marketing materials are up-to-date and on the server
  • Provide technical product information upon customer's request OK

 

Customer Service Management (Internal)

  • Oversee and supervise Customer Service team communications with customers of the assigned region.
  • Monitor and ensure accurate pricing, service, and orders to customers.
  • Handle incidents, find solutions, and troubleshoot problems (mistakes,delays,big quality issues)
  • Work closely with Product Development to ensure all product information is correct, complete and ready-to-use for the Customer Service team and correctly input in CRM files.
  • Samples Management provide exact, correct information to the Customer Service team (specs, qty, due date, address) to prepare the samples requested/offered to customers.

Required Education/Experience/Skills/Abilities:

  • Excellent communication skills (Speaking, reading, writing), attention to detail, and strong organizational skills.
  • English is a must. Chinese is preferable.
  • Customer service or Sales experience is a benefit.
  • Service-oriented, following through on commitments and promises.
  • Flooring experience is a plus.
  • Good negotiation skills and commercial abilities.
  • Ability to work with all levels within the organization and build strong relationships.
  • Exercises influence at many levels with internal and external customers
  • Can identify alternative solutions when necessary

To qualify for the role, you must have

  • 2+ years of combined Customer Service or Sales Management or Account Management experience (ideally manufacturing company in the Flooring/Building Materials industry)
  • Working knowledge of Spanish
  • Good analytical skills & ability to work under pressure
  • Dependable, reliable, and hardworking
  • Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Teams
