Manager of Global Operations Excellence
The Manager of Global Operations Excellence is responsible for executing and leading improvement initiatives across quality, process, productivity, and automation. This role operates as a hands‑on change agent, working closely with operations, IT, and functional teams to diagnose issues, design solutions, and deliver measurable improvements.
The Manager plays a critical role in translating strategy into execution and ensuring improvements are embedded into day‑to‑day operations.
Key Responsibilities
1. Quality & Process Improvement
- Lead process mapping, gap analysis, and root‑cause analysis for operational issues.
- Support the development, documentation, and rollout of SOPs and standard processes.
- Monitor quality KPIs and support corrective and preventive actions.
- Ensure process changes are adopted and sustained in operations.
2. Productivity & Automation Execution
- Identify productivity improvement opportunities within operational workflows.
- Lead automation initiatives such as RPA, workflow digitization, and system enhancements.
- Partner with IT and operations teams to define requirements, test solutions, and support deployment.
- Track and report productivity and quality gains from improvement initiatives.
3. Continuous Improvement Projects
- Manage end‑to‑end improvement projects from problem definition through implementation.
- Apply structured improvement methodologies to deliver tangible business results.
- Facilitate workshops, problem‑solving sessions, and cross‑functional alignment.
- Support pilots and scale successful solutions across regions or business units.
4. Performance Reporting & Governance
- Develop and maintain performance dashboards and improvement tracking.
- Prepare clear, data‑driven updates for leadership on progress, risks, and outcomes.
- Support governance routines and operational review cycles.
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree required.
- 5–8 years of experience in logistics, supply chain, operations, or process improvement roles.
- Hands‑on experience with process improvement and automation initiatives.
- Strong analytical, problem‑solving, and project management skills.
- Comfortable working cross‑functionally and influencing without direct authority.
- High attention to detail with a strong execution mindset.
- Experience in global or multi‑country environments preferred.
