Role Summary
We are looking for a Marketing & Communications Intern to execute the Chamber's communications across digital channels and event marketing. You will create content, promote events, and support on-site communications during events and company visits.
Key Responsibilities
Communications & content
- Write and edit event announcements, invitations, recaps, member spotlights, and partner news in professional English.
- Maintain a content calendar and ensure brand consistency (tone, visuals, templates).
Event marketing & on-site coverage
- Support planning and promotion for Chamber events, roundtables, delegations, and company visits.
- Create event materials (agendas, banners, speaker slides, sponsor visibility posts).
- Provide on-site support (check-in, coordination assistance, live posting, photo/video capture or coordination) and follow-up communications.
Design & media production
- Produce simple visuals for social posts and invitations using tools such as Canva, PowerPoint, or Adobe.
- Edit short videos/reels when needed (basic mobile editing is fine).
- Organize and maintain the Chamber's photo/video library for reuse.
Community, member engagement & reporting
- Assist with member communications and outreach campaigns (event follow-up, introductions, renewals support).
- Help maintain accurate mailing lists and contact databases (segmentation, updates, tracking).
- Track basic performance metrics (registrations, reach, engagement, newsletter statistics) and suggest improvements.
Requirements
- Currently enrolled in or recently graduated from a Master's program in Marketing, Communications, Media, Business, or a related field.
- Fluent English (written and spoken) with strong copywriting skills.
- Strong interest in business, events, international trade, innovation, and China-Europe relations.
- Proactive, reliable, and comfortable in a fast-paced environment.
- Available to attend some evening events and occasional daytime off-site company visits.
Preferred (Nice to Have)
- LinkedIn content strategy experience.
- Basic photography and/or video editing (CapCut, Adobe, Final Cut, etc.).
