About the team:
You will be the first dedicated Marketing Director, stepping into a role previously managed by the co-founding team. You will build out a department of 3–5 specialists, including Growth and Social Media managers. As the Marketing Director, you will lead the strategic vision and operational excellence for the company’s global brand portfolio. You will be responsible for transitioning the marketing function from founder-led execution to a structured, world-class department.
Main/Primary Duties:
- Strategic Leadership: Develop and own the overarching marketing roadmap for global flagship events, ensuring brand integrity across multiple geographies.
- Team Build-out: Recruit, mentor, and lead a high-performing team of specialists (Social Media, Growth, Content) to execute complex campaigns.
- Channel Mastery: Oversee data-driven growth initiatives, social media dominance, and compelling messages to drive ticket sales and global visibility.
- Stakeholder Integration: Collaborate with the Commercial Director and cross-functional teams (Sponsors, Speakers, Community) to ensure marketing efforts support multi-million dollar revenue goals.
- Brand Evolution: Stay at the forefront of industry trends in Web3, AI, and FinTech to keep the brand’s narrative cutting-edge and influential.

- Strategic Pedigree: Proven experience leading marketing for a global brand or large-scale international events.
- Startup Agility: Ability to build "operational plumbing" and structures within a fast-moving, unstructured environment.
- Industry Interest: While Web3 experience is not mandatory, a genuine passion for the frontier tech space (AI, Crypto, FinTech) is essential.
- High Agency: A self-starter who operates with a "plumber" mindset—willing to design systems and solve problems proactively.
- Resilience: Comfortable managing competing priorities under high-pressure, world-stage conditions.
