Role Description

As a Marketing Intern at De Halve Maan, you will play an important role in supporting our marketing team as we expand our presence in the Shanghai beer market. You will work closely with the marketing team to develop and execute local strategies, manage digital marketing efforts, and help organize events to build brand awareness. This internship is perfect for someone who can work on an individual base, passionate about marketing, eager to learn in a fast-paced environment, and excited to be part of a global brand.

 

Main responsibilities 

  • Assist with managing and growing De Halve Maan’s presence in Shanghai

  • Support in executing marketing campaigns and promotions to increase brand visibility and awareness in the local market.

  • Help organize and promote local events to introduce De Halve Maan to the Shanghai beer scene.

  • Conduct research on the local beer industry, consumer preferences, and competitor activities to inform marketing strategies.

  • Assist in identifying and reaching out to local partners, influencers, and distributors to increase brand exposure and strengthen relationships within the Shanghai market.

  • Support the creation of marketing materials, including digital content, flyers, and promotional materials.

  • Track and analyze the performance of marketing campaigns, providing insights and recommendations for improvement.

  • Use strong verbal and written communication skills 

Your background 

  • You are currently pursuing a bachelor's or master's degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or a related field.

  • You have a passion for marketing and a keen interest in the beer industry.

  • Experience with digital marketing, social media management, or event planning is a plus.

  • You possess strong analytical skills and a creative mindset.

  • You are a self-motivated individual with a proactive approach and a strong ability to work independently.

  • Strong English verbal and written communication skills.

  • You are available to work at least 4 days per week.

  • You can commit to a 3-6 month internship (start in March 2025)
