About the Role:

JET IT Services is looking for a Marketing Intern to support the company’s digital marketing growth and positioning as a trusted IT vendor for international companies operating in China. This is a great opportunity for a motivated university student to gain practical experience in B2B marketing, content creation, and digital strategy — while working closely with the business owner and professional vendors.

You will help expand and manage our presence across LinkedIn, Website, WeChat, YouTube, and a new email newsletter. You’ll also continue the work started by our previous intern and take ownership of our ongoing digital marketing activities.

Your Mission:

Work directly with the business owner and collaborate with two external vendors (SEO & Website) to:

  • Own the LinkedIn content calendar and run weekly posts.

  • Write and publish one article every two weeks on our website.

  • Launch and grow our WeChat, YouTube, and Newsletter channels.

  • Ensure JET IT Services is digitally positioned as the go-to IT partner for foreign companies operating in China.

Key Responsibilities:

Content & Digital Channel Management

  • Manage the LinkedIn account of JET IT Services: plan, write, and publish weekly B2B posts.

  • Write and publish blog articles every 2 weeks, covering IT services, digital workplace, Microsoft 365, cybersecurity, and tech in China.

  • Work with our SEO vendor to ensure article content is optimized and helps attract international leads.

  • Coordinate with the website vendor to publish content, update visuals, and monitor improvements.

Channel Launch & Development

  • WeChat Official Account: plan, launch, and manage our first editorial calendar for WeChat. Coordinate translations if needed and align with Chinese user behaviors.

  • Newsletter: help select the right tool (Mailchimp, Beehiiv, etc.), define the structure and voice, and run the first editions with a consistent publishing plan.

  • YouTube: assist in channel setup, content planning, and coordinate basic production/editing (with support). Goal is to publish short, informative B2B IT videos.

Marketing Strategy & Vendor Collaboration

  • Participate in regular planning meetings with the business owner and vendors.

  • Provide weekly updates and suggest content or channel ideas based on competitor activity, customer questions, or market trends.

  • Run competitor and SWOT analyses regularly, identifying how JET IT Services can better reach its audience.

  • Monitor basic metrics (LinkedIn analytics, website traffic, WeChat stats) and identify improvements or opportunities.

Who We’re Looking For:

Must-Haves:

  • Currently studying for a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or a related field.

  • Excellent written English; strong ability to draft professional, clear, and engaging posts.

  • Proactive, organized, and not afraid to take ownership of tasks.

  • Familiar with LinkedIn, Google Docs/Sheets, Canva, and basic marketing tools.

  • Ability to work independently while maintaining communication with internal and external partners.

Nice-to-Haves:

  • Familiarity with WeChat Official Account management.

  • Understanding of SEO principles or willingness to learn through vendor collaboration.

  • Experience with video platforms (YouTube Shorts, Instagram Reels, TikTok, etc.) or interest in learning video content strategy.

  • Involvement in student organizations (e.g. AIESEC, university associations).

  • Experience in blog writing or social media marketing (even if for personal or student projects).
