About the company:
We're currently partnering with a fast growing premium skincare brand in Hong Kong. We are looking for a high-energy, strategic Sales Director to lead the business and brand growth in Hong Kong with the potential to further develop into the regional markets for both online and offline channels.
The successful candidate will be responsible in pioneering the growth of the business including the management of the current distributor and penetrating into different B2C, B2B, online channels.
The ideal candidate has a deep passion for the beauty industry and a proven track record of scaling consumer goods.
About the job:
- Develop and execute a strategic sales plan to meet and exceed annual revenue targets across existing key accounts including distributor and retail channel management
- Analyze the market trends and be able to provide actionable insights to penetrate into potential channels in the local and/or regional markets including direct-to-consumer channels and B2B channels including (not limited to) e-commerce, key retail channels, distributor, hospitality etc.
- Drive business growth through recruiting, mentor, and lead a high-performing sales team, fostering a culture of accountability, excellence, and continuous improvement.
- Responsible in owning and managing the P&L and budget for the Hong Kong business. Ability to forecast and analyze sales data and market trends to provide accurate revenue forecasts and actionable insights to the executive team.
- Collaboration with global team on branding/marketing initiatives to ensure global brand alignment and consistency
Skills & experiences required:
- Degree holder in business and/or related discipline
- Minimum 10 years experience in key account management/sales preferably in the category of beauty, skincare, or personal care
- Experience in growing and leading a team is a bonus
- Experience owning and managing a P&L is preferred
- Strong communication and negotiation skills
- Analytical, strong project management skills and relationship oriented
