About the job

The Baunat Group, owner of the internationally known jewellery brands BAUNAT and Valquère, is searching for an Assistant of sales & marketing for Shanghai Showroom.

Your role is to support our manager in the Shanghai showroom, targeting the further grown in Greater China area market, thanks to your affinity with high-end jewellery and passion for assisting in marketing, sales, service, business development and luxury.

Reporting directly to Baunat Shanghai Manager, you will be assisted in running our Shanghai showroom, being responsible for its proper functioning in all aspects: marketing, sales, service.

To successfully fulfil your role, you will be provided with in-house marketing, sales and diamond (jewellery) product training upon your start.

We are looking to build a long-term relationship with our new colleague and expect a mature, versatile and flexible person. Someone who can easily combine commercial tasks, with administration and business development.

Both Baunat and Valquère are digital native vertical luxury brands, allowing you to stay in tune with the latest innovations in product, sales and marketing whilst operating from a premium location in Shanghai(Soho Donghai Plaza Shanghai).

Job description

Sales support

• Assist in guiding new clients through their search for the perfect jewel via email, phone or online chat
• Facilitate physical sales appointments with clients in Shanghai showroom,
• Assisting in answering to clients’ personalized requests such as tailor-made jewellery or investment diamonds and packages after in-house training
• Ensure timely and professional communication with clients to maintain high satisfaction levels.
• Follow up the order procedure to ensure the production and delivery information goes efficiently.

Marketing support:

• Support mainland China marketing activities, including managing the brands’ Chinese social media platforms and collaborating with agencies and internally for marketing projects
• Assist in organizing and executing online campaigns and other collaborative initiatives to enhance brand visibility.
• Provide Chinese translations for website content, newsletters, and other marketing materials.

PR & Events

• Assist in organising exclusive customers events in Shanghai and HongKong.
• Support the team in the development of PR coordination, partnerships with other companies and events.

Your Profile

• You have a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree
• You MUST fluently speak and write English, Chinese Mandarin, any other language is a plus. (French, Dutch, etc.)
• You are commercially minded, customer oriented and problem solving
• You can work independently as well as in a team and you enjoy a varied range of tasks.
• Attitude towards work is the most important element
• Being Integrated, honest and discreet, reliable, with a strong sense of responsibility.
• Having strong communication skills, being enthusiastic, enjoy working smoothly and collaboratively in a team.
• Being flexible (not 9-to-5-minded)
• You learn quickly and have an affinity for all things digital.
