1st Edition Sino-Benelux Career Fair Great Success

Last Saturday, our 2023 Sino-Benelux Career Fair inaugurated at the brand new AIA Financial Center in the North Bund of Shanghai. Over 100 individuals signed up and attended this event. Distinguished guests, including Ms. Marjo Crompvoets, Consul General, Consulate General of the Kingdom of the Netherlands in Shanghai, Mr. David S., Deputy Consul General, Consulate General of the Kingdom of Luxemburg in Shanghai, and Ms. Esmé Cartens, Attaché Education and Science, Embassy of the Kingdom of the Netherlands in China, delivered opening and congratulatory speeches, and more than 20 member companies participated in the event. The represented industries range include human resources, chemicals, manufacturing, constructions, materials, logistics, food and nutrition, investment, art and culture, health care, IT industry, etc.

The career fair served as a great platform for people to connect, allowing our member companies to interact with Benelux university alumni and foreign students studying in the Shanghai region. The event also attracted a diverse audience from the general public, with over 100 individuals joining the gathering.

During the two workshops, Randstad China shared insights on "Better Understanding Your Employees for a Stronger Employer Brand," while FrieslandCampina presented their company culture, demonstrating how they "nourish by care."

Both individuals and companies took advantage of this opportunity to network, connect, and share experiences and opinions. We greatly appreciate the enthusiasm of our member companies' HR and leadership teams. This marks our first edition, and we aim to continue this tradition every year in the coming future. The event concluded with a cocktail networking party, fostering closer connections.
