The 2022 Sino Benelux Business Survey has officially kicked off
For the 7th successive year, the Benelux Chamber of Commerce in China is organizing the Sino Benelux Business Survey, supported by Moore – MS Advisory, to provide meaningful findings on the economic progress of China-based foreign invested companies and the influence of China’s overall growth as a global economy. More specifically, the 2022 edition will examine economic recovery following the pandemic and relevant perspectives of foreign businesses with regards to their outlook in China. The continuous growth and development of many enterprises operating within the Chinese market has instilled a sense of confidence for doing business in China.
What is this survey all about?
The overarching themes covered by The Sino Benelux Business Survey 2022 include important business demographics, overall sentiments, current performance, the impact of the ongoing COVID-19 restrictions, and expectations for the future, specifically for Belgian, Dutch and Luxembourgish businesses in China.
Who can participate?
While all businesses from Belgium, the Netherlands and Luxembourg are able to participate in the survey, the majority of past respondents were identified as SMEs based in key economic centers such as Shanghai, Beijing and the Greater Bay Area. Of those represented, a large proportion of participants belonged to the Consumer and Industrial Goods and Services industry which has been a consistent trend throughout the years. As demonstrated by survey results, China has become an increasingly attractive market for foreign businesses considering global expansion.
What does this survey tell us?
The purpose of the Sino Benelux Business survey is to provide startups, SMEs and multinational businesses China with information on emerging trends and the business climate in China. Additionally, the survey seeks to analyze the current market situation with aims to provide businesses with conclusive knowledge to make more informed business decisions.
While only Benelux businesses are surveyed, the Sino Benelux Business survey is meant to convey both short and term market trends that are applicable to a multitude of industries and businesses that operate in China. The scope of the survey also reveals what the positive and negative drivers are, strategic capabilities for an effective response to market changes and ultimately the constituent themes that determine business success in China.
The Benelux Chamber of Commerce in China
The Benelux Chamber of Commerce is an organized group of representatives from Belgium, the Netherlands and Luxembourg based in China formed in the interest of Benelux companies. As a non-profit organization, the goal of the Benelux Chamber of Commerce is to provide a platform and network to promote and connect companies, people and opportunities within China.
