Belgians in Shanghai Summer Barbecue

On June 5th, the Belgian community in Shanghai gathered for a relaxed and cheerful evening at Chuar Bar. The occasion: a classic summer BBQ featuring Belgian beers, signature sauces, and good company; the perfect ingredients for a Belgian-style evening abroad.

Food was provided by Joeri Reynaert, owner of Chuar Bar, who took care of the grilling throughout the night.

The event was made possible thanks to the support of Belgians in Shanghai, Vlaming in Shanghai (VLIS), Belges Wallons Bruxelles (BWB), the Consulate General of the Kingdom of Belgium in Shanghai, Benelux Chamber of Commerce Shanghai, as well as beer partners Duvel, Kasteel, and 12SQM.

A great turnout, a welcoming setting, and a touch of Belgian flavor made for a memorable evening.
