Benelux Chamber invited to Jiashan City Promotion Conference

Last Friday, the Benelux Chamber of Commerce team had the honor of joining the 2023 Jiashan City Promotion Conference (嘉善城市推介大会). Chairman of the Board Karel Eloot, Treasurer of the Board Tom Chen, General Manager Ian Bennink and Deputy GM Jian Lu, together with Deputy Consul General of the Netherlands, Sachi Claringbould, joined the conference in Jiashan. They met with Party Secretary Jiang Haiyang . We were treated to insights on developments in Jiashan and the progress of the national strategy to integrate the Jiangzi River Delta.
The 2023 China Jiashan City Promotion Conference and Jiashan International Investment and Trade Fair was held on Friday 17 february. Nearly 500 domestic and foreign celebrities, business elites, and entrepreneurs were invited to attend the event.
On behalf of the Municipal Party Committee and the Municipal Government, Chen Wei welcomed the guests present at the event, congratulated the signing parties of major projects, and introduced the economic and social development of Jiaxing City. He said that Jiaxing is the root city where “the red boat set sail “. The hub city that connects Shanghai, Ronghang, and Sulianyong, is a city of humanities with many famous scholars and a profound heritage. The city of blending charm is a city of happiness with balanced urban and rural areas and rich in life.
Chen Wei said that the projects signed this time have high investment intensity, high technological content, and good development prospects, which have injected strong momentum into the construction of Jiaxing, a strong city of smart manufacturing and innovation. Jiaxing will, as always, uphold the concept of "pro-business, business-oriented, and business-loving", adhere to the development of "common prosperity, common prosperity, and win-win", and strive to create "the best" business environment brand in Zhejiang.
