Bridging Industry and Culture: A Visit to Dushan Port
3月25日，比利时维夫斯应用科技大学的30名学生受邀到访浙江独山港经济开发区，实地考察化工园区，深入了解当地产业发展态势，并通过制作传统杜布小马，感受中国非遗文化的独特魅力。此次团组来访，既是独山港经开区与荷比卢商会紧密合作的生动写照，也是开发区践行“开放创新”发展模式的具体展示，更搭建起了中比跨文化交流的温暖桥梁。
On March 25, 30 students from VIVES University of Applied Sciences in Belgium were invited to visit Zhejiang Dushan Port Economic Development Zone (DPEDZ). They toured the chemical park to gain insights into the local industrial development, and experienced the unique charm of China’s intangible cultural heritage by making traditional Pinghu Dubu horses. This visit is not only a vivid example of the close cooperation between DPEDZ and the Benelux Chamber of Commerce, but also a concrete demonstration of the zone’s commitment to an “open and innovative” development model, building a warm bridge for cross-cultural exchanges between China and Belgium.

As a member of the Benelux Chamber of Commerce, DPEDZ enjoys a prime geographical location, bordering Jinshan District of Shanghai to the east and Hangzhou Bay to the south. Founded in 2009 and upgraded to a provincial-level economic development zone in 2014, it has a total planned area of 111.9 square kilometers. In 2025, its industrial output value of enterprises above designated size reached 79 billion yuan, with a cargo throughput of 56 million tons.

独山港秉持可持续发展理念，沿岸布局138台海上风电机组，总装机容量约630兆瓦，年发电量约达17亿千瓦时。同时，国资主导建设的低碳产业园正在推进中，拟申请LEED认证，园内提供单层、双层高标准厂房，面积涵盖7000平方米至20000平方米等多种规格，预计2027年全面建成投用，为企业绿色发展提供有力支撑，助力企业实现碳中和目标。
Adhering to the concept of sustainable development, Dushan Port has deployed 138 offshore wind turbines along the coast with a total installed capacity of about 630 MW and an annual power generation of about 1.7 billion kWh. Meanwhile, a state-owned low-carbon industrial park under DPEDZ is under construction and plans to apply for LEED certification. The park will provide high-standard single-story and double-story factories ranging from 7,000 to 20,000 square meters, and is expected to be fully completed and put into operation in 2027.
