Cycling 10,000 KM for Life

After four months on the road across the European Union, Russia, Kazakhstan, and China, Belgian cancer survivor Claude Brouir completed the journey of a lifetime. Departing from Belgium in April on his self-built solar tricycle, Claude rode in support of several cancer-related non-profit organizations.

On August 31st, the Consulate General of Belgium and the Benelux Chamber of Commerce proudly welcomed Claude to Shanghai with a celebratory “Toast to the Finish Line.” Over 120 supporters cheered as he arrived at 16:45 at the Consulate’s premises.

Thanks to the generous support of Abbott, 12m2, Lotus Bakeries, Vedett, Stella, Hoegaarden, and Vandergeeten, the event concluded with a festive reception honoring Claude’s remarkable achievement!
