A Day at NIO’s Manufacturing Site

On March 25, the Benelux Chamber of Commerce organized an insightful visit to NIO's cutting-edge manufacturing site in Hefei, Anhui. The event saw the participation of students from our member VIVES University of Applied Sciences, participants of the Intern2China program, and several Chamber members.

The day began with an engaging company presentation, where NIO provided a detailed overview of its journey, mission, and forward-thinking approach to electric vehicle manufacturing. The presentation highlighted NIO’s commitment to innovation, sustainability, and its position as a leader in the electric vehicle industry. Following the presentation, attendees had the opportunity to participate in a Q&A session, allowing them to dive deeper into NIO's strategies and technologies.

After the presentation, participants explored NEO House and the NIO Life Showroom. These spaces provided a firsthand look at how NIO integrates technology and lifestyle into its products, showcasing not only their electric vehicles but also a broader vision for a modern and sustainable future.
The highlight of the day was a guided tour of NIO’s manufacturing facility. Attendees were able to witness the advanced production processes that distinguish NIO as a leader in the industry. NIO’s Production Simulation System (PSS) demonstrated the company’s dedication to precision, quality, and sustainability. The use of cutting-edge technology was evident throughout the factory, underscoring NIO’s innovative manufacturing approach.

This visit offered a unique opportunity for students and professionals to connect with industry leaders and gain valuable insights into the future of mobility. The event provided a platform for participants to engage with experts in the field and learn about the groundbreaking technologies driving the electric vehicle revolution.
