Our “FlameOn – Barbecue Grill” has been recognized for top design quality and ground-breaking design !
Today we have been informed that our “FlameOn – Barbecue Grill” won the “Best of the Best” Red Dot Award 2018. This is the fourth design and innovation award Design2Gather has received in the past years, including: Successful Award 2017, iF Design Award 2017; and a Red Dot Award in 2016.
The Red Dot Award, established in 1955, has become one of the most recognized and sought after design awards in the world. This year, over 5,640 product applications from 55 countries were submitted and assessed by a panel of independent and international jurors who awarded a “The Red Dot: Best of the Best” for groundbreaking design to Design2Gather. This award is the top prize in the Red Dot Award: Product Design, only reserved for the best products in a category.

The “FlameOn – Barbecue Grill” is a category-defining product, one that uniquely combines a sleek, fashionable design with advanced user benefits, such as a unique portability, and a ground-breaking new way to heat up the coals in a fast and efficient way. The “FlameOn – Barbecue Grill” has been designed for easy portability, easy use and aimed to increase socialization.
The “FlameOn – Barbecue Grill” will be presented in the Red Dot Design Museum, the largest museum for contemporary design. The “Red Dot: Best of the Best” gala will be held on September 28, 2018 in Singapore. Guests from all over the globe will be in attendance to celebrate the prestigious group of winners.

Design2Gather is established for and by designers. The roots of founder Bram Broeken were at the University of Applied science in the department industrial product design. Fascinated by the craft of design but frustrated of the difficulty to get it really out there on the market.
