Dutch Jazz Shines at the 2025 JZ Shanghai Jazz Festival

As the rhythm of the 21st JZ Shanghai Jazz Festival fills the city this October, the Netherlands takes the stage with a vibrant selection of performances supported by the Performing Arts Fund NL. From October 18 to 27, audiences can immerse themselves in the deep grooves and soulful melodies brought by talented Dutch jazz artists performing across Shanghai’s renowned venues, including JZ Club and the festival’s Afterparty Sessions.

Supported by the Performing Arts Fund NL, this initiative strengthens artistic exchange between China and the Netherlands, connecting audiences through the universal language of jazz. As Shanghai celebrates its favorite music season, Dutch musicians bring a fresh wave of European energy, spontaneity, and artistry — ensuring that the jazz never stops flowing, even late into the night.
