EUROL and Benelux Chamber Dive Deep into China's Automotive and Industrial Core

Author: Shanghai BenCham

In a strategic effort to deepen ties with China’s rapidly evolving industrial sector, leading Dutch lubricants company EUROL, in collaboration with the Benelux Chamber of Commerce in China, recently completed a three-day mission across key automotive and manufacturing hubs in Eastern China. The visit, organized entirely by the Chamber, was designed to go beyond formal introductions, offering EUROL high-level access and meaningful engagement with both legacy players and emerging innovators in the Chinese industrial landscape.

This mission was made possible thanks to NLinBusiness, the national initiative that first connected EUROL to the Benelux Chamber!

From Performance to Precision: Suzhou and Yancheng

The journey began in Suzhou, where the delegation visited the GT Show, a premier event in China’s car tuning and performance scene. The event served as an energetic entry point into the country’s automotive subculture and aftermarket innovation. EUROL then entered into strategic discussions with Tianlihe Automotive, a key player in high-precision vehicle component manufacturing.

The next stop was Yancheng, where the delegation engaged with the Yueda Group, one of Jiangsu Province’s leading industrial conglomerates and the long-term Chinese joint venture partner of Kia Motors. Participants were granted a behind-the-scenes tour of Kia’s production facility, observing large-scale assembly processes and precision engineering in real time. The visit continued at FAW Group, the maker of the iconic Hongqi limousine and one of China’s most respected state-owned automotive enterprises.

Industry 4.0 and Beyond: Jiangsu Lanks and AHKING

The final leg of the mission spotlighted China’s transition into intelligent manufacturing. At the Jiangsu Lanks Intelligent Manufacturing Park, the delegation observed how automation, AI, and smart production lines are setting new benchmarks for efficiency and innovation.

The tour concluded with a visit to AHKING Industrial Group, a fast-growing company serving both heavy machinery and high-performance motorsports through advanced lubricant technologies. A direct exchange with the Group’s Chairman provided insights into the company’s diversified growth strategy and its alignment with China’s broader industrial ambitions.

Strategic Access through Local Expertise

More than a business mission, the three-day journey was an immersive experience into China’s industrial heartland. It was made possible through the Benelux Chamber of Commerce in China, whose network, local expertise, and on-the-ground coordination ensured impactful encounters from factory floors to executive boardrooms.

By connecting EUROL with established and emerging industrial leaders, the mission highlighted the mutual value of international partnerships, emphasizing the importance of cross-border dialogue in an era defined by global supply chains and technological transformation.
