Huangpu Day with Benelux Chamber Members

Building strong relationships remains at the heart of doing business in China. This is exactly why the Benelux Chamber of Commerce continues to create opportunities for our members to engage directly with key districts like Huangpu. On December 3rd, we designed a dedicated half-day program that allows Benelux companies to gain first-hand insights into Huangpu’s business environment, connect with district representatives, and experience the area’s cultural and economic vibrancy.

To emphasize this important focus on relationship-building, our Board Members, as well as our members Royal Ahrend APAC, FrieslandCampina, MELEXIS, Philips, GONVVAMA, Syensqo, Actemium, NTS, DESPACE 镝空间, Eurbridge Shanghai, UCB, Be-Cause, ING, Wise Wings, Elliot Van Cayzeele and Yihan HU participated in an insightful “Huangpu Day.” We were also honored by the presence and support of Ms. Chen Ying, General Director of the Huangpu Overseas Friendship Association, whose engagement further strengthened the dialogue between Huangpu District and the Benelux business community. This well-attended event deepened our cooperation with one of Shanghai’s most historic and internationally vibrant districts.

Huangpu Day included visits to the Yuyuan Inner Garden, the Huangpu Cultural Center and the Dashijie Consumption Cluster, offering a closer look at Huangpu’s cultural heritage and its dynamic approach to modern development. We then attended the Huangpu District Promotion Meeting, where district officials and Chamber representatives exchanged views on business development and future opportunities for international enterprises. The visit concluded with a networking lunch, enabling deeper engagement between Huangpu District and the Benelux Chamber and its members.
