On the 14th of May 2026, the Innovation China Spring Conference will return to Shanghai, gathering key players from across industry, investment and public policy. Hosted at the Minghua Sugar Factory in the Yangpu district, the one-day event will focus on deep-tech innovation, venture clienting and new models of collaboration between startups and multinational corporations.

Bringing together more than 30 startups and 30 multinational companies, the conference aims to create a space where emerging technologies meet real-world industrial needs. Throughout the day, participants will have the opportunity to attend keynote speeches, panel discussions and startup presentations, while also engaging directly with exhibitors in the dedicated exhibition area.

The program reflects the diversity of today’s innovation landscape. From robotics and artificial intelligence to supply chain innovation and corporate-startup partnerships, the sessions are designed to highlight both technological advances and practical applications. Alongside formal talks, networking moments and exhibition visits will allow attendees to exchange ideas and build connections in a more informal setting. The event will conclude with a networking reception held nearby in the evening.

Beyond attending, startups also have the opportunity to take part as exhibitors. The conference is actively inviting deep-tech startups to apply for a place in the exhibition, offering selected participants a full-day booth as well as the chance to present on the main stage. This provides direct exposure to both international and domestic investors, as well as potential corporate partners.

To be considered, startups must demonstrate a strong focus on deep-tech innovation and the ability to present and communicate effectively in English. For those selected, the event represents not only a visibility opportunity but also a platform for strategic engagement with key stakeholders in the innovation ecosystem.

With its dual focus on knowledge-sharing and business opportunities, Innovation China Spring 2026 positions itself as both a conference and a launchpad. Whether attending to gain insights or participating to showcase new technologies, participants can expect a day centred on collaboration, discovery and growth.
