Melexis Strengthens Shanghai Operations
The Benelux Chamber of Commerce in Shanghai proudly congratulates our member Melexis on the opening of their expanded office in Shanghai. This milestone reflects Melexis’ long-term commitment to the Chinese market and enhances their ability to serve customers with cutting-edge semiconductor solutions.
For over two decades, Melexis has built a strong presence in China, delivering advanced technologies to support the country’s growing automotive and industrial sectors. The newly opened office will serve as a central hub for sales, marketing, technical support, and engineering, further strengthening their local operations and customer engagement.
We were honored to join the opening ceremony alongside key figures, including Pascal Buffin, Consul General of Belgium in Shanghai; Frédéric Van Kerrebroeck, Deputy Head of Mission and Consul for Political and Economic Affairs; and Frank Van Eynde, Trade Commissioner at Flanders Investment & Trade (FIT) Shanghai. From Melexis, we recognize the leadership of Dieter Verstreken (China VP), Harry Zhao (Regional People and Workplace Manager), and Jerry Gao (Regional Sales Director - Automotive), as well as our own Jonathan Xu, Deputy General Manager and Commercial Director at the Benelux Chamber of Commerce. Their contributions have been instrumental in this new chapter for Melexis.
As a longstanding member of the Benelux Chamber and a valued sponsor of our Best of Benelux Chamber of Commerce Business Awards Dinner, Melexis continues to push boundaries in semiconductor innovation. We look forward to following their continued success and contributions to the industry in China and beyond.
