Our Members Visited Huawei’s Lianqiu Lake Research Center

How often do you get to visit a research campus the size of a small city? The Benelux Chamber of Commerce recently led members on an exclusive tour of Huawei’s newly inaugurated Lianqiu Lake R&D Center in Qingpu - Huawei’s largest and most ambitious R&D site to date.

Completed in 2024 and spanning over 2,600 acres, this cutting-edge campus brings together thousands of researchers working across semiconductors, wireless technology, digital energy, smart devices, and intelligent mobility, all connected through internal trains, elevated walkways, and advanced laboratory facilities.

Participants enjoyed a guided tour, a seminar on Huawei’s innovation strategy, and a networking lunch with company representatives. Our member companies joined this unique opportunity to explore one of China’s most significant hubs for research progress and technological collaboration in the Yangtze River Delta.
