Dankjewel, Merci, Thank You, Danke schön & 谢谢你 for attending this years Best of BenCham Awards Ceremony!

It was a pleasure to welcome all of our distinguished guests at the Hyatt on the Bund on November 21st, 2019. A night about connecting with new faces and re-connecting with familiar faces in our community. We truly hope you had an amazing evening! Thank you for joining us and making this evening a great success!

The ceremony announced the winners of three Awards. Global Materials Company Umicore won the KBC Best Company Award; Talent Management company Wise Wings won the Da Wo Best Team Award; and Environmental Activist Monique Maissan received the Personality of the Year Award.

The ceremony was joined by distinguished guests from Belgium and The Netherlands, Luxembourg Consulates General in Shanghai, and the representatives from leading Benelux Companies. A special guest, HRH Princess Astrid, representative of King Philippe of Belgium, was also present at the event.

By combining 50% pre-voting and 50% live-voting, Umicore became the winner of KBC Best Company Award with 38% of the total votes and Wise Wings received the Da Wo Best Team Award with 37% of the votes.

As the economic connection between Benelux and China expands, an increasing number of Benelux enterprises are progressing towards a more successful and sustainable business in China. The Best of BenCham 2019 is not only a celebration of successful business practices in China, but also the witness to stronger connections between two economies.
