Tomorrowland Is Coming to Shanghai!

The Benelux Chamber of Commerce in China is proud to share a historic cultural announcement: Tomorrowland, Belgium’s globally renowned electronic music festival, is officially making its China debut on November 22, 2025, in the heart of Shanghai.

This landmark event was unveiled during an exclusive press conference and VVIP mixer, attended by the Chamber, Shanghai officials, the organisers, and the Consulate General of Belgium in Shanghai. Hosted at the striking Hero Dome on the Bund, the festival will launch its first-ever indoor and Asian edition, under the immersive theme “The Magic of Tomorrowland – Paperworld.”

Co-organized with Hero Esports, INS Land, and with Budweiser Brewing Company APAC as title sponsor. This new edition will blend international headliners with rising Chinese talent, supported by world-class storytelling, interactive design, and an entirely reimagined audience experience.

But Tomorrowland is more than just a music festival. Since its founding in the Belgian town of Boom, it has grown into one of the world’s most celebrated cultural brands, known for its creative innovation, immersive design, and global community-building. By redefining what a music event can be, Tomorrowland has positioned itself at the forefront of experiential and cultural innovation.

This debut in China is not only a cultural milestone, but a prime example of how Belgium exports world-class creative vision and entrepreneurial spirit to the world. It reflects how innovation isn’t only technological, it can also be found in the power of design and storytelling.

For the Belgian community in Shanghai, Tomorrowland’s arrival is more than just a music event. It’s a powerful symbol of how Belgian creativity has made a global impact. From its roots in Flanders, Tomorrowland has grown into a cultural icon, and now, it's set to take center stage in one of the world’s most dynamic cities.
