Welcome to Our New Intern, Ennio!

As of next week, we extend a warm welcome to Ennio Colombo Giardinelli, a dedicated bachelor student Chinese Business Studies from Howest University of Applied Sciences in Bruges. Ennio will be joining our team with a focus on various tasks and projects, contributing his skills to the Chamber.

Coming from Belgium, Ennio is set to enrich our Chamber team for a period of 4 months. Throughout his stay, he will play a key role in assisting organizing seminars and events, utilizing his expertise in graphic design, and engaging in other strategic projects to enhance our collaborative endeavors between the Benelux region and China. We are eager to embrace the valuable contributions Ennio will bring to our community.

“Hello everyone! I am Ennio Colombo Giardinelli, and it is with great enthusiasm that I share the news of my arrival at the Benelux Chamber of Commerce in Shanghai. I am honored to commence my journey with a focus on various tasks within Project Management within BenCham.

Currently being in the final year of my studies ‘Chinese Business Studies’ (BA) at Howest University of Applied Sciences, I recently concluded a 4-month exchange semester in Hangzhou at Zhejiang Gongshang University, deepening and further strengthening my understanding of the Chinese language and culture over the past 2 and a half years. 

Coming from a diverse heritage of Belgian and Italian roots, my passion lies in exploring different cultures, with a particular focus on China. Travel and leisure has been a constant source of inspiration throughout my academic endeavors.

I am captivated by the charm of China, its rich cultural tapestry, and the warmth of its citizens. This profound admiration drives my commitment to fostering cross-border connections and understanding, aligning with the goals of the Benelux Chamber of Commerce in Shanghai.

In addition to my academic pursuits, I also bring a technical background, specifically in graphic design and video editing. I am excited to apply these skills in the dynamic environment of the Chamber.

It is my sincere desire to contribute my energy, skills, and eagerness to learn at the Chamber. The prospect of joining a team dedicated to fostering cross-border business development, promoting sustainability, and enhancing ties between the Benelux and China resonates deeply with my aspirations.
