Dutch Mercedes dealers, ASV in Veghel and Gomes in Alkmaar started supplying the Chinese premium brand Voyah on September 21. During the EV Experience event at Zandvoort, Dongfeng's luxury EV brand Voyah introduced its SUV, the Voyah Free. In its press release the firm stated, "For service, maintenance, and the availability of parts, Voyah Benelux has intentionally selected a nationwide sales and service network consisting of well-established automotive companies."

Dongfeng Motor has expressed its intention to enhance Voyah's brand presence in Europe by signing these cooperation agreements with relevant dealers. Notably, Voyah plans to introduce the Voyah Dream model in the third quarter with further expansion of its range in 2024 with the Voyah Passion sedan and crossover Voyah Courage in 2025. This expansion will provide more Voyah product options for Dutch consumers. The first batch of vehicles is scheduled for delivery to the Netherlands in the fourth quarter of this year.

Voyah delivered its first cars in Norway in late 2022. The overseas cooperation negotiation and signing ceremony took place in Oslo, Norway, in collaboration with Dongfeng Motor's Norwegian partner, Electric Way. In the Nordic market, Voyah has signed memorandums of understanding (MoU) for cooperation with various Nordic automotive dealerships, with Norway acting as the central hub. Under these MoUs, Voyah is poised to expedite market expansion in Denmark, Finland, and other Nordic countries. In the third quarter of this year, Voyah will officially enter the Finnish and other Nordic markets, with the first batch of vehicles scheduled for delivery in the fourth quarter.

Simultaneously, the automaker's Swiss partner, NOYO, is accelerating the development of a Swiss sales website. This will enable local users to order the Voyah Free model online or visit physical showrooms, starting in the fourth quarter of this year. Before this, the Swiss partner had imported sample vehicles for test drives and evaluations.

Is this the potential EU-China EV partnership that we predicted in our previous article on “What is happening with China’s EV market and its Exports to Europe?”.
